Dear Dimmick Families,

I am reaching out to let you know that this will be my final year at Dimmick School as I have been offered and accepted the Superintendent position at Peru Elementary School District #124. It has been an honor to be a part of the amazing Dimmick School community for the past 28 years starting as a junior high social studies teacher and then serving as your Superintendent for the last 17 years.

During my tenure, I have had the privilege of working with some remarkable and dedicated staff; supportive families, boards, and community; and had the opportunity to work with many amazing students. Leading this District has been a passion of mine, and I take great pride in all that we have accomplished together. My 8th grade teacher regularly preached to us that it was our responsibility to make our little corner of the world better than we found it and I believe that we have been successful in doing so at Dimmick School.

As I transition to this new and exciting career opportunity, I remain grateful for the support and trust you have placed in me during my tenure. I am confident that the District will continue to grow and thrive under the next administration and I am committed to assisting in any way I can to ensure a smooth transition so that Dimmick can continue the tradition of excellence it has long been known for.

Thank you again for the opportunity to serve as your Superintendent and for the tremendous support I have received in my time at Dimmick. I will certainly miss the students, staff, board, and community as it has been a wonderful experience that I will treasure always.

Best regards,

Mr. Ryan Linnig Superintendent
