Dear Dimmick Families,
We want to thank those of you who were able to join us for our Parent Engagement Night on Wednesday, November 6 which focused on our District's Social Emotional Learning and Character Development Programs. We hope that the session provided an opportunity to learn more about the programs as well as allow parents/guardians to ask questions and share their thoughts and ideas. During the session we took detailed notes and will use the information to evaluate our programs and look for opportunities to continue to improve. Our District's Vision centers on Exceptional Learning, Character, and Leadership. In order for exceptional learning to occur, we must first ensure that we have an environment in which students are respectful, responsible, and safe. Based on the discussions and parent feedback at the meeting, it is evident that we share the same expectations. To improve the effectiveness of these programs and improve student learning, we will continue to focus on consistency in expectations, consistency in follow through, and communication between home and school.
If you have feedback that you didn't have the opportunity to share at the meeting, either email me or complete the surveys that go out following Parent-Teacher Conferences which will be held on Monday, November 25 and Tuesday November 26 from 2:40PM-7:00PM so that we can add your thoughts and ideas to the list for consideration.
Thank you for your continued support and have a great week!
