Good morning! I am so excited that in just a few days our Dimmick Braves will be walking through the doors and down the halls again! The entire staff has worked tirelessly to prepare for the upcoming school year! Yesterday, the bus routes were sent so please be sure to check them; however, if you already know that you are a "car rider" every morning or afternoon, please call 815.228.1093 to let them know. Also, throughout the year, please remember that if you decide to pick your child up rather than have them ride the bus one afternoon, you'll need to call the office BEFORE noon to let them know. :-)
I am hoping to see everyone this Tuesday from 3-5:30 for Floats with Friends and Family in the gym for supply drop off. This will give your kiddos and you a chance to see the new and improved playground area. It's spectacular! Our Dimmick Braves' community is so blessed to have such a beautiful and safe space for the students to play! A huge thanks to Mr. Linnig and the Dimmick School Board for always searching for ways to improve our facilities! Teachers will be available to meet with your children and answer questions you may have, and Mr. Arteaga will be having sports meetings as well! This night will be a fun way to kick off the school year!
Finally, I have attached a one page document of some important handbook changes that you should be aware of as we enter the new year. These changes are not the only ones, but will help your child be successful! If you have not read the handbook, please do so!
