Dear Dimmick Families,
As per the District Strategic Plan, we are striving to be “ an education leader by providing a positive and supportive environment that ensures ALL students are engaged in learning experiences that allow them to grow and achieve their dreams.” To get there, we want to effectively communicate the rationale for programs and opportunities we have in place to our families. We are inviting all parents to attend a 1-hour information session on Wednesday, November 6 from 6:00-7:00PM at Dimmick School. The topic for this session will be “Social Emotional Learning and Character Development.” This will be an opportunity to hear about, ask questions, and gain a better understanding of our Social Emotional Learning efforts (Daily Strategies, 2nd Step Program, Bullying Prevention and Response) and the Dimmick FIT program. Mrs. Alderman (School Counselor) and Mr. Foster (P.E./Social Emotional Learning Teacher) will be the lead presenters with Mr. Linnig (Superintendent) and Dr. Rossman (Principal) assisting.
Refreshments will be available, and childcare will be provided for those who need it. Please sign up using the link below.
We are hoping this will be a great opportunity to connect with our families, share what we are doing to support our students and provide opportunities for future discussions of important topics and programs.
