Instead of taking the typical summative assessment at the end of our unit on the Judicial Branch, 7th graders had the option of creating a skit or something to show me they understand one of the landmark court cases that we talked about during the unit. The entire class decided to put together one skit, and they selected Miranda as the court case they were going to do.
